My Story

I have been interested in music since age 10 when my mother first really introduced me to music, with bands like Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, and Chicago. At age 12 my parents let me get my first guitar and lessons as I had been nagging them to let me try ever since I had started becoming more interested in music.  Ever since then, I have taken every opportunity available to me throughout my education to try to advance both my skill and understanding of both the guitar and music. Throughout middle school I took external private guitar lessons as I started my music journey. In high school, I began refining my skill in both guitar and music as I enrolled in any class available that had to do with music, whether that be theory, production, performance, or history. I also auditioned for and got to perform in several outside of school honors bands as a jazz guitarist such as mid-state and the Nashville Youth Jazz Ensemble. Upon graduating high school, I decided to go to college for music at Middle Tennessee State University where I recently graduated from the College of Media and Entertainment with a major in Recording Industry and a minor in Music Performance. I currently am looking to get into session work for artists, songwriters, and producers who may be looking for a guitarist. I have had a good amount of experience recording in the studio for others while at MTSU, and I have had a lot of experience performing live both for school and outside of school throughout my career as a musician.
